Volodymyr Shorobura

Volodymyr, a resident of the mountain village of Tukhlya in Lviv region, had military experience—he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) in 2014-2015.

In the fall of 2022, he volunteered once again to defend his homeland, taking up arms. He served as a shooter and anti-aircraft gunner in the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade (military unit A4056).

In deep sorrow, the community of his native village Tukhlya honored and bid farewell to the fallen Hero with deserved honors.

Soldier Volodymyr Shorobura was killed on June 16, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the settlement of Blahodatne in Donetsk region, suffering a fatal mine-explosive injury. He would have turned 30 in two months.

At home, his wife and young daughter awaited his return.
