Vyacheslav Yeromenko
Vyacheslav was born in the town of Pryshyb in the Zaporizhzhia region. He was the youngest child in a large family, passionate about football, with Lionel Messi as his idol. He served in the airborne assault brigade in Mykolaiv. He joined the railway in 2011, working as a crossing guard, and from 2013, he was a trackman for the Melitopol track distance.
In civilian life, Vyacheslav was a loving husband (he met his wife Natalia in Zaporizhzhia) and a caring father to his daughter Yelyzaveta and son Maksym from his wife's first marriage. In 2018, the family purchased their own home.
In February 2021, Vyacheslav signed a three-year contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 55th Separate Artillery Brigade "Zaporizka Sich." He attained the rank of junior sergeant while serving near Henichesk, where he experienced February 24, 2022. He was the commander of an artillery platoon. In November 2022, he was injured due to an explosion but returned to service.
36-year-old Sergeant Vyacheslav Yeromenko was killed on July 1, 2023, during combat operations near the village of Bohoyavlenka in the Donetsk region. He and his comrade died on the spot as a result of an enemy drone strike while searching for a new position for their unit.
Vyacheslav is survived by his wife Natalia, daughter Yelyzaveta, and mother Lyudmyla Ivanivna.
