Yevhen FILKIN

Yevhen was born on July 5, 1967. He had a military education (aviation equipment technician) and was a war veteran who participated in combat operations during the ATO in 2015–2016.

Since 2018, he joined the railway family, dedicating 5 years to work as a fuel equipment mechanic of the 5th category at the Mykolaiv Locomotive Depot.

Despite his previous combat experience, on July 29, 2022, Yevhen made the decision to once again defend his homeland.

The 55-year-old Yevhen died on July 4, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission, sustaining life-threatening gunshot wounds while protecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Yevhen is survived by his wife and daughter.
