Anatoliy KHARYTONOVYCH
Anatoliy Mykolayovych Kharitonovych was born on September 21, 1972, into a military family in Magdeburg, Germany. From childhood, he dreamed of becoming a soldier. In 1995, he graduated with honors from the Volsk Higher Military Logistics School. His military rank was captain.
From 2014 to 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in the Donetsk region and held the status of a combatant.
He began his career in railway transport in July 2016 as a shooter in the shooting team at Kryvyi Rih-Glavny Station. From April 2018 to July 2024, he served as a 4th class shooter in the paramilitary security team of Kryvyi Rih, part of the "Kryvyi Rih Detachment of Paramilitary Security" under the "Departmental Paramilitary Security" of the joint-stock company "Ukrainian Railways." He dedicated seven years of his life to working on the railway.
On February 25, 2022, he was called up for military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine under general mobilization. He participated in combat operations in the Kherson and Donetsk directions, responding promptly and clearly to situations during combat missions.
He was killed on July 14, 2024, while performing combat tasks to ensure national security and defense measures and to repel the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the Kherson region.
His colleagues remember him as a diligent, proactive, and hardworking employee.
Anatoliy Mykolayovych is survived by his mother and sister.

We share the pain of grief for our colleague, who remained faithful to the duty of an officer and defender of Ukraine until his last breath. His professionalism and courage serve as an example for us all. We will not forget his heroism!
