Andriy Musienko
Andriy was born and lived in the village of Havrylivka, Kharkiv region. He graduated from the Sloviansk Technical School of Railway Transport. He worked on the railway in the Sloviansk Electric Supply Division as an electromechanic at the Havrylivka traction substation. In 2015, he served in the ATO zone, being on the "zero line." On February 26, 2022, Andriy was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 81st Brigade, 122nd Battalion, in the grenade launcher section of the anti-tank platoon of the Airborne Assault Troops.
45-year-old Senior Soldier Andriy Musienko was killed on April 24, 2022, in the city of Rubizhne, Luhansk region.
Colleagues remember Andriy as calm, balanced, and responsible. He willingly shared his practical experience with younger employees. In his free time, he loved to read and fish. His passion was self-studying computers, developing programs, and repairing PCs. His wife shared that Andriy was brave, strong-willed, a loyal friend, and an exemplary family man. He loved his wife's children as his own and became a wonderful and loving grandfather. For his service, he was awarded the Presidential Award of Ukraine "For Participation in the Anti-Terrorist Operation," had distinctions as a "Participant of ATO," "Excellent Worker of the Energy Sector of Ukrzaliznytsia," and posthumously received the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.
Andriy is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
The team of the Sloviansk Electric Supply Division of the regional branch "Donetsk Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" mourns the loss of their senior soldier. This responsible electromechanic, veteran, and self-taught individual, known for his calm demeanor, heroically fell in Luhansk. His valor, confirmed by state awards, is a testament to resilience.
