Andriy Shutyak
Andriy was born in Lviv, where he received his education at the Lviv College of Transport Infrastructure. He began his career in the railway industry in February 1993. Since July 2017, he worked as a 5th-grade locksmith-plumber at the Center for Construction and Installation Works and Operation of Buildings and Structures in Lviv.
With the onset of Russia's full-scale invasion, Andriy took up arms to defend the state, joining the 25th Separate Assault Battalion of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Mahura" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He defended the sovereignty of his homeland in Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions.
Soldier Andriy Shutyak was killed on October 30, 2023, in the vicinity of the town of Avdiivka in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region while performing combat tasks, remaining true to his military oath.
Andriy is survived by his wife and daughter.
