Dmytro Holiev
Dmytro graduated from the Lyman Vocational Technical School in 2006. In 2008, he began working on the railway. He worked as a blacksmith on hammers and presses of the 4th category at the Lyman section of the structural unit "Pokrovsk Wagon Depot." Together with his wife Olha, he lived in Lyman and raised their daughter Anna.
On May 18, 2022, an enemy shell struck the home of 33-year-old Dmytro Holiev in the city of Lyman, claiming not only the life of the railway worker but also that of his wife Olha and their 11-year-old daughter Anna.
The team at the Pokrovsk Wagon Depot of the regional branch "Donetsk Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" deeply mourns this horrific and irreparable loss. The brutal shelling completely destroyed the family of our colleague—a hardworking blacksmith from the Lyman section. This is an unspeakable pain and a testament to the cynicism of the aggressor, who destroys entire families. Eternal memory to all innocent victims.
