Dmytro KHUTORNYI
Dmytro was born and lived in the town of Koziatyn in the Vinnytsia region. He received a vocational railway education at the Koziatyn Vocational School and the Dnipro College. Since November 2013, he worked at the Koziatyn Repair Depot as a repair fitter for rolling stock and a milling machine operator.
Colleagues remember Dmytro as a very responsible, hardworking, and sociable specialist, a wonderful son, and a caring father.
On January 20, 2023, Dmytro joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, serving as a rifleman and assistant grenade launcher.
27-year-old soldier Dmytro Khutornyi was killed on March 20, 2023, as a result of enemy sniper fire near the village of Dibrivka in the Lyman district of Donetsk region.
Dmytro is survived by his parents and a young son.
The team at the Koziatyn Repair Depot of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" expresses deep sorrow over the loss of Dmytro Khutornyi. His courage and paternal care for his son will forever remain in our memory. Glory to the defender!
