Dmytro PYLYPENKO

Dmytro was born in the village of Lukivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region and lived in Chervonohryhorivka. He graduated from the Nikopol Professional Lyceum. In August 2018, he began working as a trackman at the Nikopol Track Division. He loved his job very much.

31-year-old Dmytro Pylypenko tragically lost his life on March 10, 2023, at his workplace due to enemy shelling of the railway section between Nikopol and Marhanets.

After the death of his father, Dmytro became the eldest in the family at a young age. His sister Inna recalls that he was a "jack of all trades": he was skilled in many construction professions, repaired cars, and built a large beautiful house by himself, but he never got to live in it. Dmytro was a diligent and very responsible person, treating his niece as if she were his own daughter.

The team at the Nikopol Track Division of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" bows its head in sorrow over the tragic death of Dmytro Pylypenko. His hard work, responsibility, and dedication to track work will always be our eternal pain. Eternal memory to our colleague!
