Eleonora Kataeva

Eleonora was born in the village of Sr.Ivkine, Kirov Oblast, and in 1975 she moved and lived her entire life in the city of Popasna, Luhansk Oblast.

After graduating from the Popasna Vocational Technical School in 1994, she began working at the Popasna station, where she served as a signalwoman and auxiliary worker. Since 2009, she worked as a cleaner in the structural unit "Popasna Signal and Communication Distance." During her time there, she established herself as a disciplined, hardworking employee with high standards for herself.

Eleonora died on May 7, 2022, as a result of shelling in the city of Popasna, Luhansk Oblast.

Eleonora is survived by her daughter and mother, who are currently in a temporarily occupied territory.

The team at the Popasna Signal and Communication Distance of the regional branch "Donetsk Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" mourns the loss of their colleague. This diligent worker dedicated nearly thirty years to the railway in Popasna. Her conscientiousness and responsibility will be remembered. Our condolences to her daughter and mother. Eternal memory.
