Hryhoriy KAMLYK

Hryhoriy was born in the village of Myrova in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where he worked on the railway for over 30 years. He started as a train assembler and later became a signalman at the Myrova station. His mother recalls that he was kind, always willing to help, and for this, people placed a metal vase with roses on his grave as a sign of gratitude.

During his school years, he was cheerful and very active. After his mandatory military service, on February 9, 2022, Hryhoriy rejoined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a paratrooper and immediately found himself on the front lines, where he died in battle, a hero.

51-year-old Hryhoriy Kamlyk was killed on March 8, 2023, near the city of Mykolaivka in the Donetsk region.

He was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage."

The defender is survived by his wife and three children: Roman, Hanna, and a younger son in the fifth grade.
