Ihor Bulikhov
Ihor was born on July 11, 1977, in the village of Chuykivka, Yampil District, Sumy Oblast. In 2005, he joined the railway family, becoming a train dispatcher of the 5th category at the Khutir-Mykhailivskyi railway station, part of the "Konotop Railway Transport Directorate" of the regional branch "South-Western Railway." He had 18 years of experience working in the railway sector.
Ihor's colleagues remember him as a sincere, kind, and decent person, a diligent and responsible worker. They valued his honesty, humanity, and friendly support. "Ihor was a loving husband and father, and in his free time, he enjoyed fishing," recalls his wife Oksana. Called to defend his homeland, he showed courage and dedication to Ukraine, giving his life in the struggle for peace and freedom.
On May 22, 2022, Ihor joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in a tank brigade of the Ground Forces in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk Oblast.
While carrying out a combat mission on December 30, 2022, near the city of Dnipro, Ihor sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized in a hospital in Zaporizhzhia, where he died from his injuries on January 14, 2023.
