Ihor Rybak
Ihor was born and lived in the town of Paniutynе in the Kharkiv region. After graduating from the agricultural college, in 2008 he began working on the railway as a 3rd class repair locksmith at the Paniutynskyi Car Repair Plant.
In 2015, Ihor enlisted for contract service, participating in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation, he served as a gunner-operator in the Kupiansk direction with the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Ivan Sirko.
35-year-old Senior Soldier Ihor Rybak was killed on June 3, 2023, while performing a combat mission in the village of Berestove, Kharkiv region.
Throughout his military service, Ihor was awarded the badge "For Participation in the Anti-Terrorist Operation" and the medal "Defender of the Fatherland."
Colleagues knew him as a bright, kind, and generous person, a reliable friend, and a loving father.
Ihor is survived by his parents and two minor children.
The team at the Paniutynskyi Car Repair Plant of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" remembers Ihor Rybak with pride and deep sorrow. His courage, contract service, and dedication to the Motherland will forever be etched in history!
