Ivan Herasymovskyi

Ivan was born on September 5, 2000, in the village of Bohdanivka, Kirovohrad region. He graduated from Znamyanka Vocational Lyceum No. 12 with a red diploma, obtaining the profession of assistant locomotive driver. He worked at the Znamyanka Locomotive Depot.

Ivan began his military journey on June 24, 2021, standing up to defend his homeland. He was still very young, only 22 years old.

Ivan Serhiyovych was killed on May 20, 2023, as a result of combat operations in Donetsk region.

The team at the Znamyanka Locomotive Depot of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" bids farewell to Ivan Serhiyovych with respect. His short but heroic life was dedicated to the defense of his homeland. Eternal memory!
