Mykola Maksymenko
Mykola was born in the village of Khrystynivka in the Cherkasy region. He worked for almost 20 years at Ukrzaliznytsia as a fourth-grade locksmith in the diesel train repair shop at the Khrystynivka motor car depot of the "Suburban Passenger Company" branch. At work, Mykola was respected and valued as a skilled worker who always willingly shared his knowledge.
On March 8, 2022, Mykola was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
54-year-old soldier Mykola Maksymenko died on May 25, 2022, just a little short of his 55th birthday.
Acquaintances describe Mykola as a brave and courageous person who believed in our victory and always came to the aid of others.
Mykola is survived by his wife, Valentyna.
