Oleh Anisimov
Oleh was born in Dnipro and graduated from vocational school No. 52 as a radio mechanic. In 2011, he joined the railway and worked as a fourth-class shooter in the shooting team at the station of Nyzhniodniprovsk-Vuzol in the Dnipro military security unit. His colleagues remembered him as a diligent, persistent, and conflict-free worker.
In March 2022, Oleh voluntarily enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, despite having benefits due to his wife's disability. He fought in Klishchiivka, Vuhledar, and Bakhmut, and was wounded twice. His wife, Larysa, recalls that he "went out and brought people back with minimal losses" and "risking his life, carried the wounded out with the guys." He returned to the front lines saying, "Who else if not me... how will I look you and the guys in the eyes later?"
51-year-old Junior Sergeant Oleh Anisimov (call sign "Molfar") was killed on March 1, 2023, near the settlement of Vodiane in the Donetsk region. He sustained a fatal gunshot wound as a result of enemy shelling.
For his personal bravery, Junior Sergeant Anisimov was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
Oleh is survived by his wife Larysa and daughter.
The team of the Dnipro military security unit of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" mourns and honors the memory of Oleh Anisimov with pain and respect. His courage, dedication to his comrades, and principles will forever remain an example to follow. Eternal Glory to the warrior!
