Oleh Sharov
Oleg was born on February 11, 1967, in the city of Pyriatyn in the Poltava region. He dedicated over 15 years of his life to the railway, rising from an assistant locomotive driver to an electric locomotive driver at the Kupiansk Locomotive Depot.
Oleg was responsible, fair, a true patriot, and a candidate for the title of Master of Sports. Colleagues and relatives remember him as a pillar and support for his family, a loving father and husband, always ready to help.
In 2022, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, serving in the Ground Forces.
55-year-old Oleg Rudolfovych Sharov was killed on January 31, 2023, while defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine during a combat mission in the Donetsk region.
Oleg is survived by his parents, brother, wife, and daughter.
The team at the Kupiansk Locomotive Depot of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" deeply mourns this irreparable loss. His dedication and courage will forever remain in our memory. Eternal memory and honor to the defender!
