Oleksandr Bakhmach
Soldier Oleksandr Bakhmach was born in the city of Lozova, Kharkiv region, into a large family. He was raised to be honest, decent, and tolerant, and he knew how to maintain self-control in any situation.
In school, Oleksandr constantly participated in extracurricular activities. Among his subjects, he particularly excelled in "Pre-conscription Training for Youth," and he was skilled in marksmanship. After finishing the 11th grade, he enrolled in a vocational school and later studied at the Lozova branch of the Kharkiv Road Transport College.
Oleksandr worked on the railway for 10 years. He was an electrician responsible for the repair and maintenance of the station's electrical equipment in Lozova. He was respected among his colleagues and was a master of his craft. Acquaintances described him as sincere, sociable, and always ready to help.
In September 2022, Oleksandr was mobilized. His colleagues noted that he became an example of loyalty and self-sacrifice, a symbol of true Ukrainian patriotism.
On May 10, 2024, as a result of an explosive injury, soldier Oleksandr Bakhmach was killed near the city of Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv region. Oleksandr will forever remain 37.
