Oleksandr DRACHUK
Oleksandr was born in the village of Zherebkove in the Odesa region. After serving in the army and working as an electrician, he joined the railway in 2001. He worked as a driver of a railcar of the 6th category at the Podil Electric Supply Division. Colleagues remember him as a true professional—responsible, sincere, principled in his work, and friendly in communication.
Just a few days after the full-scale invasion, Oleksandr went to the enlistment office to defend his homeland. He served as a senior driver in the reconnaissance unit of a mechanized battalion.
45-year-old Oleksandr Drachuk was killed on April 19, 2023, near the village of Khromove in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region. Just a few days before his death, he turned 45.
Oleksandr Drachuk's name is immortalized on the Memory Alley of the Zherebkivskyi rural community.
The team at the Podil Electric Supply Division of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" deeply mourns the loss of Oleksandr Drachuk. His courage and kindness will forever remain an example for us. Eternal memory and honor to the warrior!
