Oleksandr Hlushchenko
Oleksandr was born and lived in the city of Krasnyi Lyman in the Donetsk region. He graduated from a vocational school in Kramatorsk, obtaining the profession of an electric gas welder. Before the full-scale invasion, he resided in the town of Drobysheve in the Donetsk region. In 1992, Oleksandr began working on the railway. He was a 5th category electric gas welder at the production unit "Lyman Electric Mechanical Workshops" of the "Enerhoremtrans" branch.
Oleksandr Hlushchenko tragically died on May 17, 2022, in the yard of his own home as a result of an enemy rocket attack. He had turned 50 just two weeks before the tragedy.
Colleagues say that Oleksandr was constantly striving for learning, self-improvement, and upgrading his qualifications, working in positions such as transformer assembler, repair mechanic, and electric gas welder of various categories. His knowledge and experience were invaluable, and he was always ready to help his colleagues. Oleksandr Oleksandrovych was sociable, kind-hearted, and created an atmosphere of support and understanding around him.
The deceased railway worker is survived by his wife and daughter.
