Oleksandr Lazarenko

Oleksandr was born in the city of Haivoron, Kirovohrad region. In 2020, he joined the railway family, working as a 3rd category trackman in the Haivoron track distance. Over four years of work, his colleagues remembered him as a dedicated and responsible employee.

On June 21, 2023, Oleksandr was called up for military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Oleksandr Mykolaiovych Lazarenko, a trackman, was killed on January 17, 2024, while defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine during a combat mission in the Kherson direction.

The team of the Haivoron track distance of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" bows its head in deep, sorrowful respect for Oleksandr Lazarenko. His responsibility, courage, and ultimate sacrifice will forever be our symbol of honor. Honor to our colleague and Hero!
