Oleksandr LUZAN
Oleksandr was born and lived in the village of Taborivka in the Mykolaiv region. He worked as a watchman on the railway at the Znamyanka station's construction and structures operation section (the Voznesensk station section).
On March 21, 2022, Oleksandr was called up for military service. After training, he was deployed to the Kherson direction, serving as a radio telephone operator in the first rifle platoon.
48-year-old soldier Oleksandr Luzan was killed on September 13, 2022, near the village of Sukhy Stavok in the Kherson region.
Colleagues describe Oleksandr as a polite and kind person who responsibly fulfilled assigned tasks and had a calm, balanced character. His mother, Ms. Lyudmyla, remembers him as the "most golden, the best," a good, sincere, attentive person who never refused to help.
Posthumously, Oleksandr Luzan was awarded the Order of Courage III degree.
The warrior was buried in his native Taborivka. Oleksandr is survived by his mother Lyudmyla, son Yevhen, and brother Serhii.
The team of the Znamyanka region of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" honors the memory of their colleague with deep respect. The watchman, who was a calm and kind worker, did not hesitate to defend his homeland. His courage, recognized by the Order of Courage, and the bright image cherished by his mother and friends, is our eternal duty of memory. Eternal Glory!
