Oleksandr Moroka
Oleksandr was born and lived in the village of Studenok in the Kharkiv region. He worked on the railway as a track inspector and artificial structures technician of the 4th category in the track service (PCh Lyman). Oleksandr was remembered by his colleagues as a polite and responsible worker.
47-year-old Oleksandr Moroka was killed on May 6, 2022, when he was caught in a Russian shelling right in his parents' yard, where he had come to visit his ailing father. The man's life was cut short in an instant.
His wife, Viktoriia, shared that Oleksandr was an honest, decent, and responsible person with a sense of dignity. He could be relied upon in any situation. Among friends, he was loved for his cheerful disposition and sense of humor. He was very knowledgeable and interested in the history of his native land. Since childhood, he had been involved in sports, enjoyed fishing, and loved spending time in nature. He managed to raise a wonderful son.
Oleksandr is survived by his wife, son, father, and sister.
The team of the track service (PCh Lyman) of the regional branch "Donetsk Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" honors the memory of the inspector. This decent and knowledgeable man, a pillar for his family and colleagues, was killed by the enemy while caring for his father on his own land. His death from shelling is a testament to the brutality of war. Our deepest condolences to his family. We mourn together.
