Oleksandr Potapchuk
Oleksandr was born in the city of Zdolbuniv in the Rivne region. He worked as a third-category boiler operator in the service department of the Zdolbuniv motor vehicle depot. The management valued him as a skilled worker who was not afraid of challenges.
In his relationships with colleagues, Oleksandr was friendly, communicative, polite, and earned their respect. He dreamed of starting a family.
On December 11, 2023, Oleksandr took up arms to defend his homeland, joining the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
31-year-old soldier Oleksandr Potapchuk, a boiler operator, was killed on February 18, 2024, in the village of Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia.
Oleksandr is survived by his mother and brother, who also work in the railway sector.
The team at the Zdolbuniv motor vehicle depot of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" bows their heads in profound sorrow and deep respect for Oleksandr Potapchuk. His courage, qualifications, and sacred sacrifice will serve as an example for all. A low bow to the Warrior!
