Oleksandr Soroka
Oleksandr was born and lived in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region. In 2016, he began working on the railway as a fourth-category carpenter in the capital repair section No. 1 at Kryvyi Rih station.
On October 13, 2022, Oleksandr took up arms to defend his homeland, serving as a gunner in the mortar section of the fire support company on the Donetsk front.
28-year-old Oleksandr Soroka died from his injuries on April 29, 2023, near the village of Bilohorivka in the Donetsk region.
Colleagues remember Oleksandr as an open, energetic person who brought positivity to the team, as he was the youngest in the section. He was hardworking, truly loved his job as a carpenter, and never shied away from problems, always helping others.
Oleksandr is survived by his elderly parents; he did not have time to get married.
