Oleksandr Stolyarchuk
Oleksandr Stolyarchuk was born in the village of Maksymivka in the Kharkiv region. He graduated from the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport with a degree in "Railway Structures and Track Management." Initially, he worked as a track installer in the Kharkiv track distance of Ukrzaliznytsia. Within three years, he became a foreman (released) for the current maintenance and repair of tracks and artificial structures of the 5th category.
In 2023, Oleksandr made the decision to defend his homeland from invaders. He was convinced that everyone should protect their native land.
Colleagues recall that Oleksandr was not afraid of any work. In the early days of the war, he was restoring tracks after explosions in very dangerous areas.
"In his work, Oleksandr was an example for everyone. He will forever remain in our memory as a model of courage and love for the homeland. His compassion and dedication inspired all of us. Oleksandr eagerly took on the most challenging tasks and skillfully completed them despite difficulties. He never complained about the hard work of a trackman because the railway was his calling," shares Vyacheslav Veklenko, a track master who worked alongside Oleksandr Stolyarchuk for many years.
38-year-old soldier Oleksandr Stolyarchuk heroically fell in battle on May 8, 2024, in the area of the settlement of Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region while carrying out a combat mission.
Oleksandr is survived by his wife Inna and son Mykyta.
The team of the Kharkiv track distance, where Oleksandr Stolyarchuk worked, expresses deep sorrow and condolences to his wife Inna and son Mykyta.
