Oleksandr Tsemіn
Oleksandr was born in the village of Popilnia in the Zhytomyr region. He worked as a trackman of the 4th category at the Fastiv railway distance of Ukrzaliznytsia.
He was mobilized on November 1, 2023, serving as a gunner in the 1st assault squad of the assault company. Acquaintances remember him as a very determined and demanding man. When Oleksandr received his call-up notice, his words were resolute: “No need to call anyone, I’m going to defend my homeland; I live here!!!”
35-year-old soldier Oleksandr Tsemin, a trackman, was killed on February 17, 2024, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Lastochkine in the Donetsk region.
Oleksandr is survived by his mother.
The team at the Fastiv railway distance of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” bows their heads in profound sorrow and deep respect for Oleksandr Tsemin. His courage, determination, and sacred sacrifice will remain a model of valor. The memory of the Hero will live on forever!
