Oleksandr Yalovoy
Oleksandr was born in the village of Shevchenkove, Mykolaiv region. In 2003, he graduated from the Mykolaiv Technical School of Railway Transport, obtaining the qualification of a technician-electromechanic. He dedicated his entire working life, which spanned 20 years, to the railway. From 2009 until his mobilization, Olexandr worked at the Kyiv Center for Mechanization of Track Works, a branch of the "Center for Repair and Operation of Track Machines" (CREOTM), as an operator of railway construction machines of the 8th category.
Family and colleagues remember him as a sincere, cheerful, and kind man, a father, and a friend.
On July 18, 2022, Oleksandr took up arms to defend his homeland. During his service, he proved to be a qualified, disciplined, and responsible serviceman. He was a brave warrior, devoted to his military oath, who repeatedly rescued his comrades from under fire, risking his own life.
39-year-old soldier Oleksandr Yalovoy, an operator of railway construction machines, was killed on October 26, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the village of Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region.
Oleksandr is survived by his wife Yevheniya and son Ilarion.
The team at the Kyiv Center for Mechanization of Track Works, a branch of "CREOTM" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia," bows their heads in profound sorrow and pride before Oleksandr Yalovoy. His heroism, dedication to the Oath, and indomitable spirit will forever be our unyielding symbol. Glory and eternal memory to the Hero!
