Oleksiy KIRIENKO
Oleksiy was born in the village of Pryvokzalne, Sumy region. In 1998, he joined the railway as an electrical technician for centralization, signaling, and blocking devices at the Konotop signaling and communication distance.
Colleagues remember him as a responsible, reliable, and professional employee, a wise person with a sense of humor. His character traits included trustworthiness, generosity, integrity, optimism, cheerfulness, and a love for animals.
On April 14, 2022, Oleksiy was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He fought in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhiv directions, where he sustained a gunshot wound on September 21, 2022. After recovering, he returned to his unit for further service.
Oleksiy Kirienko was killed on June 11, 2023, while carrying out combat missions in the vicinity of the settlement of Blahodatne in the Volnovakha district of Donetsk region.
Oleksiy is survived by his father, sister, brother, and wife.
