Oleksiy KOMAROV

Oleksiy was born on April 1, 1992, in the town of Frunzivka, Odesa region. After graduating from the Odesa College of Transport Technologies, where he obtained the qualification of "Contact Network Electrician," he joined the railway family in 2012. Olexiy worked for 10 years as a 3rd category contact network electrician in the Podil Electric Supply Division.

Colleagues always remember him as a dedicated, disciplined, and responsible worker with a great sense of humor. Oleksiy was an open, sincere, and kind-hearted guy who was passionate about sports. Even during short vacations, he would meet with his railway friends and dream of marrying his beloved girlfriend.

In February 2022, Oleksiy took up arms to defend Ukraine and joined the Armed Forces, where he diligently and honorably fulfilled his duties.

Oleksiy Andriyovych Komarov will forever remain 31 years old. He died on May 9, 2023, defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as a result of a mortar shelling in the city of Krasnyi Lyman and an explosion from a shell in the village of Marinka, Donetsk region.

His loving parents are left behind without their son.
