Oleksiy KRAVTSOV

Oleksiy was born in the city of Zhmerinka, Zhmerinka district, Vinnytsia region. He graduated from Zhmerinka Vocational Technical School No. 1 in 2007. In September 2007, he began working on the railway, to which he dedicated his entire subsequent working life. He worked as a wagon inspector and repairman at the Zhmerinka-Podilskyi wagon maintenance point, part of the operational wagon depot of the Zhmerinka regional branch of the "South-Western Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia." He devoted 15 years to the railway.

Colleagues' feedback about Oleksiy describes him as a reliable friend, the life of the party, always positive, and someone who could support anyone in any situation; he loved to cook. He enjoyed working the land, cultivating, sowing, and harvesting. Upon returning from the war, he planned to engage in agriculture.

Oleksii voluntarily took up arms to defend the state on March 1, 2022.

He was killed on December 4, 2022, during a firefight while carrying out combat missions to defend against the Russian aggressor in Donetsk region.

For his personal courage and selfless actions in defense of the state sovereignty, he was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" III class and a medal for participation in the anti-terrorist operation.

We express our sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. Oleksiy is survived by his wife, daughter, and mother.
