Petro PETRYNA

Пасажирське вагонне депо Львів
09.07.1986 – 29.08.2022

Petro worked as a conductor of a passenger car at the passenger car depot in Lviv.

The injuries that led to his death were sustained on August 24, 2022, as a result of a missile strike on the Chaplyne railway station in Dnipropetrovsk region. That day, he was working on an evacuation train that was transporting people from Pokrovsk. Petro suffered severe injuries, resulting in the amputation of his lower limb, but his life could not be saved. He died while fulfilling his professional duty.

Petro is survived by his wife Maria and son Ivan.

The team at the Passenger Car Depot in Lviv of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" remembers their colleague with deep sorrow. His self-sacrifice during the evacuation of people and his tragic death is our eternal debt of memory to him. Eternal memory!
