Roman CHERNEHA
He was born in the village of Berezyanka, Ruzhyn district, Zhytomyr region.
After graduating from the Znamianka Vocational College of Railway Transport as an assistant locomotive driver, he began working as a locomotive driver at the "Znamianka Locomotive Depot," a production unit of the regional branch of locomotive management "Odesa Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia."
He was a responsible and diligent worker, a friendly colleague, respected and valued for his professional and personal qualities. He loved fishing.
Roman was mobilized on June 1, 2022, and died defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the village of Sukhy Stavok in the Kherson region, less than three months later, on August 29, 2022.
The war took lives, shattered dreams, plans, and futures.

The defender is survived by his parents, two sons, two sisters, and a brother.
