Ruslan LUCHKA
Ruslan was born on March 10, 1980, in the town of Paniutine, Lozova District, Kharkiv Oblast, where he lived his entire life. After graduating from vocational school, he joined the railway in 2016 as a repairman for rolling stock at the Paniutine Car Repair Plant, dedicating 9 years to his work.
On March 12, 2022, Ruslan was called up for military service.
Ruslan Yaroslavovych Luchka, a rolling stock repairman, was killed on January 24, 2024, in the Donetsk region. From that date, he was considered missing in action near the settlement of Rivnopil while performing a combat mission to protect Ukraine's territorial integrity. His colleagues knew him as a responsible and sincere person with a strong and determined character, which earned him authority and respect within the team.
Ruslan is survived by his wife and children.
The team at the Paniutine Car Repair Plant of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" bows their heads in profound sorrow and deep respect for Ruslan Luchka. Our repairman, a decisive colleague and brave Defender, heroically fell in Donetsk. His courage, sincerity, and great sacrifice will forever be etched in golden letters in the memory of our team. Eternal memory and honor to our Hero!
