Serhiy Dovhopolyi

Serhiy was born and lived in the town of Starokostyantyniv in the Khmelnytskyi region. He obtained vocational education, training as a manual welding electrician. In 2017, he joined the railway family, working at the Starokostyantyniv plant for reinforced concrete sleepers. There, he served as a repairman and later as a fourth-grade rigger in the loading and unloading section.

Colleagues remembered Serhiy as a responsible, diligent, and non-conflict person who was respected and had many friends. He is remembered as kind, generous, and cheerful.

On June 24, 2022, Serhiy was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

55-year-old soldier Serhiy Dovhopolyi was killed on October 18, 2023, in the vicinity of the settlement of Urozhayne in the Donetsk region.

Serhiy is survived by his wife.
