Valeriy BEZKROVNYI
Valeriy was born in 1977 in the picturesque village of Velyka Yablunivka in the Cherkasy region. Since 2019, he worked as a fourth-grade mason at the T. Shevchenko Locomotive Depot.
On February 27, 2022, Valeriy voluntarily went to the military recruitment office. He served as an operator in the anti-tank unit of the fire support company. His mother, Valentyna Vasylivna, shared that Valeriy was a very kind and caring son, and his decision to go to the front was a conscious one: "I want you to live under a peaceful sky." His dream was for his twin daughters, Yana and Diana, to live in a free Ukraine.
Sergeant Valeriy Bezkrovnyi was killed in a fierce battle near the settlement of Rubizhne in the Donetsk region on May 23, 2022. Posthumously, he was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
Colleagues remember Valeriy as a positive and friendly person, always ready to support others. He approached his work responsibly and never refused to help anyone. His daughters, Yana and Diana, mourn the loss of a very kind and loving father, who remains a true hero in their hearts.
The team at the T. Shevchenko Locomotive Depot of the regional branch "Odesa Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" deeply mourns the loss of the sergeant. This kind mason became a volunteer operator of the anti-tank unit and heroically fell in Donetsk. His selflessness was driven by the desire to ensure a peaceful life for his twin daughters.
