Valeriy KIZYM

Valeriy was born and lived in the city of Lyman, Donetsk region, until the onset of the full-scale war. He began his career on the railway in March 2001, working as a third-class shooter in the shooting team at the Lyman station of the militarized security service. Colleagues remember Valeriy as a principled and demanding worker.

Valeriy Kizym was killed on May 21, 2022, in the city of Lyman, Donetsk region, during another shelling by the occupiers.

The team at the Lyman station of the "Departmental Militarized Security" branch of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" deeply mourns this irreparable loss. This dedicated shooter, who protected railway facilities for over twenty years, died in his hometown. His integrity and diligence will remain in the memory of his colleagues.
