Valeriy Kryvitskyi
Valeriy was born in the village of Paplyntsi, Khmelnytskyi region. He dedicated 24 years of his life to the railway. He began his career in October 1997 in the Ternopil military security unit. In June 2012, he was accepted into the "Lviv military security unit," where he worked as a senior shooter of the 5th category.
On March 31, 2022, Valeriy was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Valeriy died while performing his duties as a result of a massive artillery shelling near Kharkiv, sustaining a shrapnel wound to the head.
Colleagues remember him as a reliable friend and a responsible worker who was always ready to lend a helping hand. Valeriy had many plans for the future, including dreams of caring for his future grandchildren in retirement.
Valeriy Pavlovych is survived by his wife and two adult daughters.
The team of the Lviv military security unit of the "Departmental Military Security" branch of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" deeply mourns the irreparable loss. This senior shooter, who served in the railway for over twenty years, bravely stood up to defend the country and heroically fell near Kharkiv. Eternal memory and honor to our colleague and hero.
