Valeriy VORONCHUK
Valeriy worked as a 4th category polisher at the Kyiv-Passenger station depot of Ukrzaliznytsia.
On March 16, 2022, he was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Valeriy served as a gunner in the 2nd squad of the machine gun platoon.
51-year-old Valeriy Voronchuk was killed on February 23, 2023, while performing a combat mission in the city of Bakhmut in Donetsk region.
He is survived by his wife Lidiya and son Vladyslav.
The team at the Kyiv-Passenger station depot of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" mourns the heroic death of Valeriy Voronchuk. The polisher who became a machine gunner fell as a Hero in fierce battles. His courage and selflessness serve as an eternal example to follow. Eternal memory to the defender of Ukraine!
