Viktor Batsun

Viktor was born in the city of Dnipro and graduated from Dnipropetrovsk State University with a degree in "Radiophysics and Electronics." In 1993, he began working on the railway. He started his career as an electronics engineer and later became a first-category systems administrator at the Dnipro branch of the "Main Information and Computing Center" (GIOC).

Viktor was a qualified, diligent, and proactive employee. He independently mastered the role of a systems engineer, managed 56 servers, and developed and implemented a number of important software solutions for the company, particularly for financial and tax reporting. He was respected by his colleagues and was awarded the "Railway Glory" III degree in 2014.

On June 11, 2022, Viktor was called up for military service.

51-year-old Viktor Batsun was killed on July 29, 2022. He is survived by a half-sister who lives abroad.

The team at the Main Information and Computing Center of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" honors the memory of their colleague with deep respect. His intellect, professional level, and dedication to his homeland, recognized by the "Railway Glory," will remain a model for all GIOC employees. May Viktor's memory be eternal.
