Vitaliy VERNYDUB

Vitaliy was born in the city of Lebedyn, Sumy region. He lived in Horishni Plavni in the Poltava region. He worked as an electric and gas welder at the Redut quarry, a branch of the "Center for Industrial Management" of Ukrzaliznytsia.

On May 17, 2022, Vitaliy enlisted as a sailor in the Marine Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

38-year-old Vitaliy Vernidub was killed on December 21, 2022, in the village of Vodiane, Donetsk region.

Friends remember him as a very hardworking person who personally renovated his home. He was caring in his relationships and readily helped others.

Vitaliy was buried with honors at the city cemetery within the military memorial "Their names will live forever" in Horishni Plavni.

He is survived by a daughter and a son.

The team at the Redut quarry, a branch of the "Center for Industrial Management" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia," honors the memory of their colleague with deep respect. His courage and selflessness are an eternal example for our team. We will remember him and his sacrifice for the future of his children. Eternal memory and honor to the defender!
