Vladyslav SOKHYNCHUK
Vladislav was born in the village of Nova Hreblya in the Vinnytsia region and later moved to the city of Koziatyn. He worked on the railway for 8 years. Since September 2015, he served as a locksmith at the Fastiv motor car depot, and from June 2018, he worked as a 5th category car inspector-repairman at the Koziatyn Operational Car Depot.
On July 16, 2022, Vladislav was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He told his family that he was doing "the most important thing of his life." Colleagues remember him as a sincere, diligent, and decent person, a hardworking and proactive employee who was always ready to help. He was cheerful, goal-oriented, and a role model for his younger sister.
26-year-old Vladislav Sokhynchuk (born in 1996) was killed on April 23, 2023, during a battle while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Khoromove in the Donetsk region.
In 2024, Vladislav Serhiyovych was posthumously awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the City of Koziatyn."
Vladislav is survived by his family, including his mother and younger sister.
The team of the Koziatyn region of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" deeply mourns the irreparable loss of Vladislav Sokhynchuk. His dedication to Ukraine and earned respect among colleagues will forever remain an example. Eternal glory to the Hero!
