Volodymyr OKOVYTYI

Oleksandr was born in the village of Velykyi Burluk, Kharkiv region. He worked as a trackman of the 3rd category at the Kupiansk track distance. He dedicated over 17 years of his life to the railway industry.

Oleksandr died on March 23, 2023, in the vicinity of Avdiivka, Donetsk region, during fierce battles, honorably defending the country from Russian occupiers.

Colleagues remember him as a dedicated, disciplined, and responsible worker, a positive, kind, and hardworking person with a great sense of humor.

Oleksandr is survived by his wife and son.

The team at the Kupiansk track distance of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" expresses deep sorrow over the loss of Oleksandr. His courage and diligence will forever remain an example. Eternal memory and honor to our colleague and defender!
