Volodymyr Semeniuk

Volodymyr was born in Kovel, Volyn, where he received his education as a mechanic at a industrial-economic college. A significant part of his life was connected to the military: he served in the army from 2012 to 2013, participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) from 2014 to 2015, and served under contract. He worked as a commercial agent at the Kovel station of the Rivne Directorate on the railway.

On February 25, 2022, the day after the full-scale invasion began, Volodymyr voluntarily joined the military. For over a year, he was a territorial defense fighter, serving as a squad commander in a rifle platoon. After the unit's redeployment, Volodymyr carried out combat missions in the hottest conflict zones.

29-year-old Senior Soldier Volodymyr Semeniuk was killed on April 27, 2023, during a battle with the occupiers near the village of Dibrivka in the Kramatorsk district of Donetsk region.

By the decision of the Kovel City Council, Volodymyr Semeniuk was posthumously awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the City of Kovel." He is buried at the Alley of Heroes in the Kovel City Cemetery.

At home, his parents were waiting for their son.
