Vyacheslav FRANCHUK
Vyacheslav was born and lived in the city of Koziatyn, Vinnytsia region. He graduated from the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport. In July 2008, he began working for the railway at the Koziatyn Electric Supply Distance as an electromechanic at the Koziatyn-2 traction substation.
Vyacheslav Franchuk was killed on April 25, 2022, during an enemy missile strike. At that time, he was at work (at the Koziatyn-2 traction substation). He was 36 years old.
Vyacheslav was a versatile, goal-oriented person who was respected in his team. Colleagues knew him as a loyal and hardworking friend, a qualified worker. The head of EChE-10, Svitlana Furmanets, noted: “He knew a lot and could do many things. He was well-versed in technology and engaged in design... Above all, he loved his family. He celebrated the first victories and achievements of his daughter Liliia, who resembled him like two peas in a pod.”
Vyacheslav is survived by his wife, son, and daughter.
The team at the Koziatyn Electric Supply Distance of the regional branch "South-Western Railway" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" honors the memory of their colleague. This qualified electromechanic, hardworking specialist, and devoted family man tragically lost his life to an enemy missile at his workplace. His versatility, authority, and love for his family will remain a model for all. Eternal peace.
