Yevhen APRYNTSEV
Yevhen was born in the city of Korosten, Zhytomyr region. In 2004, he began working on the railway as a trackman of the 4th category at the Korosten track distance of the regional branch "South-Western Railway," to which he dedicated his entire subsequent working life.
Colleagues remember him as a passionate, disciplined, and responsible worker, a reliable friend, and a true professional. Yevhen was the soul of the team, always ready to lend a helping hand. He had a great love for technology and spent his free time repairing and restoring cars.
On the first day of the full-scale invasion, February 24, 2022, Yevhen joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the mechanized troops, where he was an example of courage and dedication for his comrades. He bravely defended his homeland and gave a worthy resistance to the occupiers. Even during short leaves, he found time to visit his native enterprise, meet with colleagues, and inquire about work. He dreamed of a happy future with his family, but the war shattered his plans.
Yevhen was killed on January 24, 2024, while defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine during a combat mission in Donetsk region.
We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Yevhen is survived by his wife and two sons.
The team at the Korosten track distance mourns deeply over this irreparable loss. Eternal memory and honor to our colleague and hero.
