37-year-old conductor Yulia Hres died on August 24, 2022, while performing her official duties. Yulia worked at the passenger car depot in Lviv. On that tragic day, the enemy launched a missile strike on the Chaplyne railway station in the Dnipropetrovsk region. An evacuation train transporting people from Pokrovsk to Lviv came under fire. Five railway workers were killed, including Yulia, and three others were injured. Yulia is survived by her husband Valerii and son Nazar.
