Masym NIKITENKO

Maksym was born on March 25, 1982, in the city of Shchors, Chernihiv region. He graduated from Vocational Technical School No. 7, obtaining a specialty in construction carpentry and joinery.

He began his career in railway transportation at the Kyiv Railway Distance of the regional branch "South-Western Railway" as a 3rd category track layer in January 2021. He worked on the railway for over 4 years.

On October 7, 2022, Maksym joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and devotedly defended the country from the occupiers. He was a true patriot and a loyal comrade to his fellow soldiers.

Unfortunately, on June 25, 2025, the soldier was killed while carrying out a combat mission to detect and destroy enemy forces near the settlement of Nova Kruhlyakivka in the Izium district of Kharkiv region.

Determined and responsible, he held himself to high standards in his work. Friends knew him as a kind, polite, and reliable companion, always someone you could count on for support.

Maksym is survived by his wife and daughter. We express our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
