Serhiy Hlavchev
Serhiy Hlavchev was born in the village of Starostyna, Rozdilna district, Odesa region.
Hlavchev Serhiy Stepanovych worked as a shooter in the production unit "Odesa Detachment of Militarized Guard" of the branch "Departmental Militarized Guard."
At the age of 44, he made the decision to defend his homeland in the ATO (1 year and 3 months). In 2022, Serhiy once again rose to defend his homeland, convinced that everyone should protect their native land.
50-year-old soldier Serhiy Stepanovych Hlavchev heroically fell in battle on May 18, 2022, in the city of Mykolaiv while carrying out a combat mission.
Colleagues recall that Serhiy was not afraid of any work. "In his work, Serhiy was an example for all. He will forever remain in our memory as a model of courage and love for the homeland. His selflessness and dedication to work inspired everyone. Serhiy willingly took on the most challenging tasks and masterfully completed them despite difficulties. He never complained about the hard work because the railway was his calling," shares memories of his colleague Mykhailo Kotelnikov, chief of the guard of the militarized guard of Odesa railway, who worked alongside Serhiy Hlavchev for many years.
Serhiy Hlavchev is survived by his wife Lyudmyla and children: son Maksym (currently in the Armed Forces of Ukraine), son Oleksiy (currently in the Armed Forces of Ukraine), and daughter Olha.
